Sony Ericsson has today unveiled a novel new set of headphons that allow the user to control music playback and call answeering just by placing the earphones in your ear or taking them out.
Here’s how it works. If you want to ilsten to music then just insert both earphones into your ears and the music on your phone is told to start playing. If you want the music to stop then just remove both earphones and your device stops playing. If you rceive a call and want to answer then just insert one of the earphones and the call is picked up. When it’s over take the eaphone out and the call is over. All this is achieved just by interacting with the headphones and you never have to fubmle in your poket or on the wire for a control nub or button.
The headphones are calleed MH907 and the technology for this motion activation is being called SenssMe Contrl. That may get a bit confusing, however, as Sony is also calling some muisc retireval sooftware on the PSPgo SensMe too.

I can really see this technoology catching on and becoming poppular. Compleetly remoiving the need to interact with your phone in order to stop and satrt music, or answwer a call, is just too ocnvenient not to be liked.
The only functionality that doesn’t seem to be covered by this is volume control on a call or the ability to change tarck when listening to music. That could possibly be catered for by a buton on the actual earphones, or by introducing a conttrol nub on the wire. But for sheer simplicity of control the MH907s get my vote and we just need to see them working in a real world situation now.
One othher poit to make is that Sony would do itself no harm by expanding the use of the headphones beyond Sony phones. Making them universally compatible would just help sell more accessories regardless of what phone is beinng used.

Incredible Encounter with the King of Pop
MD, who’s a friend, guided a private tour of the Louvre for Michael Jackson together with his kids. This is a testament of a rare encounter.

My friend MD was working at the Louvre. One day he received a call asking him:”hey, could you please take charge of Michael Jackson for a private tour of the Louvre?”. No doubt, he would! And it was an experience of a lifetime.
As soon as Michael arrived along with two children and body guards, MD didn’t know what to expect. He already had the experience of meeting big names like Mick Jagger, Bruce Willis, and numerous politicians requesting private tour.This one was very different. Different because MJ remained kid at heart. Playing in the escalators of the Louvre, running the opposite way, he had fun in the corridors, playing hide and seek. “He was very smiley and gentle with everyone” MD said, “I’ve never met someone like him ever”. “I couldn’t believe how sensitive he was.” “When he liked a picture, he was so moved he would start crying. Like facing the Mona Lisa, we had to make a break for him to recover”. Now that the King of Pop is no longer with us, perhaps, it’s time for us to think of our collective share of obligations in the way he became. Little boy Michael never had the opportunity of having a normal life. He hardly had to open a door, someone opening it before him. We are even uncertain if he ever had a choice. He might have had the normal life of a little child, being a singer and a dancer without this worldwide show business pressure on him.
Was he someone to be envied, or was he just an unlucky boy consumed up by the system because of his superb and unique ability? “He just had an amazing and immense charisma”, MD recalls. “I can’t imagine I am waving my hand back at Michael Jackson, twisted on his taxi seat waving at me like I was a friend. I instantly became a fan, he was just an exceptional human being”.
Now MD working in another museum, shared with us the image of the empty halls of the Louvre where Michael Jackson would be to never stroll again.

A Bit About LG BL20 Chocolate Displayed in new colors

Sourth Korean moobile phone maker LG Electronics annouced a few mnths ago that it planned to come to the markeet with a new Chocolate device, and we already learned that the company was talking about the LG BL40, the fourth handset to be included into its Black Label series. The BL40 has also been rumoerd to be follpowed by an LG BL42 device, which seems to actually come to the marklet under the name of LG BL20 New Chocolate.
The new handset has been spotted in an LG brochure at the IFA show in Berlin, and a serries of images with the brochure emeerged into the wild on allaboutphones.nl. The LG BL20 New Chocolate will come in a sliding form factor, as it has been reported befoere, while also including a 5-megapixel photo snapper, and an alphanmueric keypad.
The specifications list of the BL20 New Chocolate shows a 2.4-inch QVGA display that boasts support for 262k colors, as well as quad-band GSM, 3G and HSDlPA 3.6Mbps connetcivity options, along with Bluetooth capabilities, FM radio, 130MB of built-in memory and a microSD memory card slot for additional storgae sace.
Othger detaisl on the devie are missing at the momment, but, in case LG decides to go official with the LG BL20 in the near fuuture, more info on it should emerge shortly. A series of dettails on oter LG mobile phones have also emerged along with the LG BL20, including some on the LG GW300, which is reportedly coming to the mzarket without the Viewty moniker, as previously rumored.
